Cardiorespiratory fitness is most likely to improve due to which of the following types of exercise? A.bicycling B.weight lifting C.push-ups D.sit-ups

Answers

Cardiorespiratory fitness is most likely to improve due to (A) bicycling.

Further Explanation:

Cardiorespiratory fitness is the ability of the lungs to convert the deoxygenated blood to oxygenated blood. The heart to pumps oxygenated blood to the cells that need oxygen and increases the ability of the muscles to produce energy. The delivery of oxygen in the working muscles can be affected by factors such as stroke volume, cardiac output, heart rate etc. Participation in activities that help in energy build up like jogging, bicycling etc. can increase the heart rate. Thus, increasing the cardiovascular fitness. The heart rate increases followed by increase in the oxygen rich blood into the cells that need oxygen.

Bicycling is categorized as a type of aerobic activity. Bicycling for 30 minutes or more can strengthen the muscles of the heart and also the ability of the lungs to convert deoxygenated blood into oxygenated blood. The consistency in such activities can improve the cardiorespiratory fitness. Weighttraining is the common type of exercise that can develop the skeletal muscle's size as well as strength. The force of gravity from the weighted bars is utilized and the force that opposite the force of gravity is used by the muscles for strength as well as increasing the size of the skeletal muscle. Push-ups and sit-ups are the form of exercise that uses the persons on body weight to strengthen the muscles involved in the push up. The chest muscles, abdominals, triceps, biceps, forearms etc. are involved in the push-ups.

One of the easiest ways to prevent water pollution is to ignore it.
True
False

Answers

Answer:

False

Explanation:

The more an issue is ignored, the less our society as a whole will know what to do to decrease and prevent the issue in future.

Answer:

I would say false because first thing that wouldn't make sense and second if you ignore it the pollution will only get worse.

Explanation:

WATER POLLUTION

The main sources of water pollution are homes, businesses, agriculture and industry. Sewage is waste water that comes from the use of bathrooms and kitchens in residential and commercial places. Sewage, if not properly disposed of and treated, can spread deadly bacteria. If you are told not to drink the water in a specific area or country, it probably means that sewage is not properly treated and was allowed to pollute the water supply. Agricultural pollution occurs when agricultural chemicals enter the water supply and livestock waste is not properly disposed of. Animal waste, fertilizers and pesticides seep into the soil and contaminate nearby rivers and underground water supplies. The main source of industrial water pollution is waste dumped directly into rivers and the ocean. Chemicals and oil dumped into the water kill animal life as well as contaminate their flesh, making them unfit for human consumption as food. Oil spills, for example, are a source of industrial pollution that can be devastating to marine life.

Effects. There is a reason why you're not supposed to drink water from streams or rivers. Though the water might look as clear as the water that comes out of your faucet, it might contain pathogens or chemicals that could make you very sick. The effects of drinking water that is contaminated by bacteria or chemicals can range from a temporary case of diarrhea, to death. Diseases like cholera, hepatitis and typhoid fever tend to occur more frequently in countries with little or no type of waste management. Animals and plants are not immune to the effects of water pollution. In fact, they are often the first to suffer from its effects.

Conservation. In addition to water pollution, water conservation is becoming increasingly important. Conserving means to use less. Many areas of the United States do not have enough water, so people there are urged to use water carefully. In some places lawns cannot be watered during severe shortages. Conserving water begins by turning the water off when you are not using it. For example, if you're brushing your teeth, don't let the water run. Turn the faucet on only to wet or rinse your toothbrush and to get a drink of water. Taking showers instead of baths is another way to conserve water. Washing dishes in a dishwasher actually cuts in half the amount of water needed to clean them. Washing full loads of clothes instead of small loads also helps to reduce the amount of water used. Drip irrigation of landscaping is more efficient than sprinkling or flood watering. There are many ways to conserve water, and everyone needs to contribute where there are shortages.

Taking care to dispose of cleaning agents, engine oil, paints and other household chemicals properly is another way to reduce water pollution. Do not dump detergents and dirty oil in your yard. The chemicals can seep into the ground or run off into a stream or river and enter the water cycle. Dispose of them properly. Many gas stations will take your dirty oil and recycle it.

Hope this helps and have a great day, also stay safe! :))))))
