How did the geography of the 3 colonial regions
affect their economies?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Answer:

The geography affected the economy of the 3 colonial regions because it was limiting in some aspects but also provided opportunities that were unique to each region.

Explanation:

In the original 13 colonies of the United States, there were generally 3 geographical areas: New England, the Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies. New England quickly became the Industrial center of the colonial period as the growing season there was short due to its northern location, and the topsoil was not good for largescale farming, just homestead, and local production. The Southern Colonies quickly became the agricultural center of colonial America, the growing season was longer and the temperatures were more adequate to produce large plantation crops. The Middle Colonies had a varied economy but they were a source of raw materials in the case of Pennsylvania for example where the colonists would mine coal.

Answers

The correct answer is option C. In the excerpt, Wilde uses the exchange between Gwendolen and Cecily to mock the formal courtship rules of Victorian society. The excerpt belongs to "The importance of Being Ernest", a play written by Oscar Wilde and published in 1898. The whole play has the objective to shed a light on how ridiculous the norms of Victorian societies were, and how they affected the lives of the characters. All these rules made the characters hypocrites and liars, because in order to show the pomposity and morality that was demanded by society, they had to hide facts of their lives.
